Christmas Markets at the Train Museum

Join Tickets & Travel on a tour to the Christmas Markets held at the 'Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa' or the 'National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa'. It lies beside the Naples-Portici railway, between the city of Naples and the towns of Portici and San Giorgio a Cremano. The museum is housed in what was originally the old Bourbon workshop Officine di Pietrarsa, the first Italian factory to produce locomotives, rails and rolling stock. It was founded in 1840 as the Royal Bourbon Factory of Pietrarsa. The size of the museum and the quantity of rolling stock exhibited places it amongst the major railway museums in the world. The collection is displayed in the pavilions of the ancient factory.
