Pietrarsa (Train Museum) Christmas Markets
Come see Christmas markets at the 'Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa' or the 'National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa'. It lies beside the Naples-Portici railway, between the city of Naples and the towns of Portici and San Giorgio a Cremano. The museum is housed in the first Italian factory to produce locomotives, rails and rolling stock, the Royal Bourbon Factory of Pietarsa, founded in 1840. The size of the museum and the quantity of rolling stock exhibited places it amongst the major railway museums in the world. The collection is displayed in the pavilions of the ancient factory.
