Montecassino Abbey
This guided tour begins on the bus ride as you journey from Naples to Cassino, located fifty kilometers south of Rome. On the mountain overlooking the city stands the Abbey of Montecassino. This abbey is of special importance because it has been destroyed and rebuilt on four separate occasions, most recently in 1944 near the end of the second World War.
