Teen Summer Employment Program

For youth 14-18 years old (recent high school graduates)

Are you looking for a summer job? Child and Youth Programs is hiring teens!

The Teen Employment Program (TEP) provides learning opportunities for teens seeking work experience and skill development. TEP is a stepping stone for career development and encourages exploration of interest or careers.

Workshops (must attend one full session):

Workshops include resume writing, interview skills, application and interview processes.

Wednesday, May 6

  • 2-3 p.m.
    Teen Center, Support Site
     
  • 6-7 p.m.
    Housing Community Center, Support Site

Interviews

  • Scheduled in June
    Teen Center, Support Site

What to bring:

  • Resume
  • Two reference letters
  • Copy of your sponsor’s orders
  • Copy of your official/no-fee passport (your photo/passport number/ expiration date page and your visa stamp page)
  • Copy of your Sojourner permit
  • Proof of active USAJobs account

TEP is available for 14-18 year olds who are Command-sponsored U.S. citizen family members and meet the CYP eligibility requirements for Navy Youth Programs.
