Naples Underground in the Evening
The tour starts later in the day and takes you through the night. Walk down 136 steps approx. 40 meters below the busy and lively streets of the historical center of Naples where you will find a different world though deeply connected to the world above. Napoli Sotterranea is an important link to the city's ancient past of over 2400 years ago. See the foundations of the Greek city of Neapolis, the remains of a Roman theater (where the Emperor Nero has his private dressing room when he performed in Naples) and Roman aqueducts and WWII bomb shelters.
