Access Information

Those with normal Carney Park access may enter the park at any time. Those with a Special Event Pass cannot enter until 5 PM and must leave by 10 PM.

Eligibility & Installation Access Protocols

Authorized Sponsors: Active Duty, Reservists, and Retirees with valid ID; DoD Civilian Employees; Dependents; and Carney Park Privilege Card holders.

Entry Fee: Free for all with normal Carney Park access. $10 for all approved special event pass holders, all ages.

Guest Pass Limit: Maximum of 4 guests age 10 and over; no maximum for guests under 10.

Visitor Control Center (VCC) Special Event Pass Processing Schedule

Support Site only. VCC window in front of turnstiles (building adjacent to Support Site Main Gate).

Guest Documentation Requirements

Individual Type	Required Documents for VCC Submission	Processing Details
Sponsor	Valid Base ID (CAC, DBIDS with Carney Park Privilege Card, or NATO ID with Carney Park Privilege Card).	Sponsor must be present. If guests are not present, sponsor must provide hard copies of guest paperwork.
Italian Nationals	Background Check (Certificato Penale) - age 18 and older; National ID Card (Carta d’Identità).	Documents must be valid and presented in clear paper copy form. Reminder: if a Certificato Penale was obtained for Festa, it is good for a year.
Non-Italian Foreign Nationals	Background Check from country of citizenship - age 18 and older; National ID Card / Passport.	Background check must be from home nation jurisdiction.
U.S. Citizens (Guests)	SECNAV 5512/2 Form; Valid U.S. Passport.	VCC conducts local background screening upon form submission.

 

Note: Following approval, VCC will transfer event passes directly to MWR for pick-up upon payment of special event passes.

6-10 PM - Cabin Trick-or-Treating

Free for all children 18 and under. Pick up your Trick or Treat Punch Cards as you enter the cabins area at 6:00 p.m. Punch cards are for those 18 and under.

8-9:30 PM - Live Music: The Frogs

Main Stage. Included with festival admission.

3-10 PM- Food & Beverage Areas

Food vendors and MWR beverage area open throughout the festival.

7 PM: Movie Monster Chase Down

7:30 PM: Costume Contest

Shuttle Service

Sign up at MWR’s Tickets and Travel Offices from October 5-19, Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM. Cost is $5 round trip per seat.

Shuttle Services Pick-Up/Drop-Off Locations

• Support Site pick-up location: parking lot between the Fitness Center and the Pickleball Courts.
• JFC pick-up location: parking lot outside the JFC front gate area.
