Great Navy Campout

It's time for the Great Navy Campout! Mark your calendar for a great weekend of outdoor fun!

Friday, Sept. 11

1 PM

  • Cabin/tent site check-in starts

7-10 PM 

  • Campfire with free s'mores (provided by MWR)
  • Carney Park Country Club Restaurant patio
  • Have dinner at the restaurant and stop by for s'mores and fun around the campfire afterwards.

Saturday, Sept. 12

9:30-10:30 AM 

  • Family kickball game
    (Fields 9 and 10 near the campground)

12-2 PM

  • Family Cookout (burgers, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks provided by MWR)
  • Play cornhole and enjoy other activities
    (Pavilion 3)

7-10 PM

  • Dinner and a Movie (Carney Park Country Club Overlook)
    Watch "Back to the Future" while eating dinner. Fixed-price menu offered by Carney Park Country Club Restaurant. Reservations not required, but are recommended.
  • Campfire and free s'mores (provided by MWR).

    Eating elsewhere and coming for the movie/campfire is allowed. However, no outside food or beverages is permitted.
    Non-overnight guests are welcome to reserve a table for dinner and the movie.

Cabin and campsite reservations

Cabins must be reserved for both Friday and Saturday night.

  • Deluxe cabin (includes bathroom), $80 per night
  • Campground cabins (bath house with toilets and showers in separate building nearby), $50 per night
  • Campsite, $25 per night (no minimum required). Rent a tent and camping equipment from Outdoor Recreation.

Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis by time-stamped email only starting on Sept. 1 at 9 AM. Email your reservation request to naplesmwr_carneypark@us.navy.mil. Emails received before Sept. 1 at 9 AM will not be accepted. Cabin reservations are open to U.S. active-duty and retired military and their families and U.S. DoW civilians and their families in honor of the Great Navy Campout.
