Can we reserve the basketball gym, Spin room, Aerobics room?

Yes, if the schedule permits and there are no classes or events going on and the space is available. You will have to come in to the gym and speak with a recreation aid to set up your reservation.

Are you open on Holidays?

The Support Site Fitness Forum is open on Holidays, we are open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Capo FitZone is closed.

Can my child use the facility?

Yes. see below for guidelines

Children under 10

Children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by, and under constant/direct supervision at all times (within arms reach) by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. Children of this age category are permitted in the following areas: basketball court, racquetball courts and aerobic room. Children in this category are not permitted, under any circumstances, in the following areas: free weight room, cardiovascular machine area, and selectorized weight machine area.

Children age 10 to 13

Youth are authorized to access the facility under the following guidelines: They must be accompanied at all times in all areas of the fitness center by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18 years. Children of this category and parent must attend a fitness program and facility orientation conducted by an MWR fitness professional staff member prior to beginning their initial workout. After completion of these elements the parent must still be in the facility when a child age 10 – 13 is exercising.

Children age 14 and older

Youth in this age category have free access to the entire fitness center, and do not need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when exercising in the facility. In order to use the fitness center, these children must undergo a fit tour conducted by the Fitness Director, Fitness Coordinator or Fitness Lead.

General rules for children under 10

Any child that is authorized to use a particular area of the facility, provided that they are under direct supervision  and may not simply sit in the area.
